Sherman Firefly - Primo lavaggio e cambio di colore del nome BELVEDERE -

Ho effettuato il primo lavaggio su tutto lo Sherman con A-MIG 1005 per carri di colore verde , ho anche rifatto il nome BELVEDERE dipingendolo con l'aerografo di giallo XF3 mescolato al 50% con  bianco XF2.

I made the first wash over the entire Sherman with A-MIG 1005 for tanks green, I also redid the name BELVEDERE painting it with the airbrush yellow XF3 mixed with 50% white XF2.

Loris stai facendo un gran bel lavoro e la cura con cui stai realizzando questo soggetto è veramente apprezzabile.La tua risposta alla mia ultima email non mi ha sorpreso perchè sò quanto tieni giustamente alla fedeltà storica e poi i netti miglioramenti sotto l'aspetto pittorico dei tuoi ultimi lavori mi fanno capire ancora una volta che il nostro hobby non è solo montare e dipingere modelli e figurini ma anche una ricerca e una passione per la storia di cui non siamo mai sazi.Il caso che mi hai descritto nella email di risposta è uno di quei casi dove queste passioni e lo spirito di osservazione del modellista appare lampante.

Grazie Luigi, il nostro è un mondo molto vario c'è il bello ,c'è il brutto e c'è la via di mezzo ma l'importante rimane sempre una cosa : essere soddisfatti comunque del proprio lavoro , i commenti vanno bene perchè fanno bene alla persona che li riceve , sono come un toccasana o una medicina .P.S. Purtroppo il mio difetto ( se così si può chiamare ) è che avendo costruito ingranaggi per 40 anni sono più che abituato con le misure e vedo subito se una cosa và bene o meno .

    Why did you repaint the name "Belvedere" ? Did you have used templates to do it ?

Dear Alain, when I make a model and place the photos in Constructive comments on ML, I always get comments from those who know more than me, and then I follow what they tell me after I consulted with other people including Mike Starmer. Having seen that the name BELVEDERE was not very visible on the photo and that Mr. John Tapsell had told me that it was probably the color yellow, I took the mask Montex and I repainted the name in yellow. P.S. masks of Montex I made redo from them because not as exact measures. I hope I was clear enough and you've got it in spite of the English a bit so-so.
