Panther Ausf D finito

Ieri ho fatto gli ultimi ritocchi sul Panther ed aggiunto i particolari sulla base , pubblico alcune foto del lavoro finito . Ora mancano i tre figurini che domani riceveranno la prima mano di primer , poi la pittura vera e propria a seguire . Non ho messo i teli per non nascondere il lavoro fatto sul Panther .

Yesterday I made the finishing touches on the Panther and added details basis, the public some photos of the finished work. Now they lack the three figures that tomorrow will receive the first coat of primer, then the real painting to follow . I did not put the tarps that does not cover work done on the Panther.

Finitura scafo con lavaggi e sporcature . Ho usato pigmenti , oli , ed i wash di Mig . Si vede la differenza tra lo scafo e la torretta , che è ancora da finire .

Finish hull washing and dirtying. I used pigments, oils, and the wash MIG. One sees the difference between the hull and the turret, which is yet to be finished.

Panther Ausf D impostazione diorama

Questa è la mia idea per un diorama ambientato a Kursk nel 1943 . Sto aspettando il numero che va sulla torretta ( 521 ) appena mi arriva e dopo averlo posizionato inizierò i vari lavaggi e le sporcature. Volevo un parere sul colore del numero , nel set della Star Decals ci sono due opzioni  nero o rosso con le linee bianche ...voi che ne dite ? I figurini sono della Evolution Miniatures .

This is my idea for a diorama set in Kursk in 1943. I waiting for the number that goes on the turret (521) when he comes to me and when positioned begin wash and dirtying. I wanted an opinion on the color of the number, in the set of Star Decals there are two options black or red with white lines ... what do you think? The figures are the Evolution Miniatures.

Ho usato come sempre lo Skull White della Citadel .

I always used as the Skull White of the Citadel.

Panther Ausf D ( premontaggio a secco )

Ho quasi ultimato il montaggio del Panther , ho eseguito una prova di montaggio a secco per vedere se è tutto a posto . Ho fatto alcune foto dei particolari aggiunti : perni ferma cingoli con catena , perni ferma cavi , cavo per cingoli , ed infine i parafanghi laterali( Schürzen )  . Le catene sono Aber , i cavi  Eureka XXL ed i perni sono autocostruiti e saldati alle catene .

I have almost finished assembling the Panther, I have carried out a dry assembly test to see if everything is in order. I took some photos of the added details: track stop pins with chain, cable stop pins, track cable, and finally the side fenders ( Schürzen ). The chains are Aber, the Eureka XXL cables and the pins are self-built and welded to the chains.

Ho provato i cingoli sul Panther e mi sembra che vadano bene , poi alcuni particolari sono stati fissati allo scafo superiore ed a quello inferiore . Le foto del Panther che lo riprendono intero sono fatte con luce naturale , mentre le foto dei particolari sono scattate con luce artificiale .

I tried the tracks on the Panther and I think it is correct, then some details have been set at the top and to the lower hull. Pictures of Panther that whole shooting are made with natural light, while photos of the details are taken using artificial light.

Panther Ausf D ( montaggio cingoli )

Per assemblare i cingoli uso questa dima , costruita  appositamente per quelli del Panther .
Nell'ultima foto si vedono i particolari che servono  per fissare le maglie dei cingoli . Metto sempre un piccolo tondino di ottone  ( diam. 0,5 mm ) tra i due in resina .

To assemble the tracks use this template, built specifically for those of Panther.
In the last picture you can see the details that are used to fix the track links. I always put a small brass rod (diam. 0.5 mm) between the two resin.

Ho iniziato il montaggio del Panther . Posto alcune foto del premontaggio ed il particolare di due saldature.
La canna è della Voyager .

I started assembling the Panther. Post some pictures of the pre-assembly and detail of two welds.
The barrel is the Voyager.
