CARRO VELOCE C.V.33 (seconda serie) Nord Africa , Libia 1941 - 32° Regg. di fanteria carrista div. Ariete

Prodotto dalla Ansaldo-Fossati di Genova a partire dal 1933, il carro veloce CV 33 assieme ai successivi modelli CV 35 e CV 38, fù prodotto in oltre 2000 esemplari ed esportato in numerosi paesi tra cui Austria, Brasile, Cina, Ungheria. Il CV 33 era dotato di un motore a benzina di 2746 C.C. che sviluppava una potenza di 43 HP e di un armamento costituito da due mitragliatrici Fiat 35 calibro 8 mm con 27 + 2 bobine da 80 colpi ciascuna. L'equipaggio era costituito da due uomini , pilota e capocarro/mitragliere. Il carro venne schierato su tutti i fronti dove operò il Regio Esercito, compresa la guerra civile spagnola. Dopo l'armistizio del settembre 1943 i tedeschi si appropriarono di numerosi CV che, sotto le loro insegne, parteciparono alla lotta anti partigiana principalmente nel settore Balcanico. Questo carro assieme a tanti altri arrivò in Africa colorato di grigio verde, con la parte posteriore bianca per agevolare la marcia notturna in colonna . Ben presto venne tinteggiato nel classico color sabbia , a cura dei reparti di battaglione.Testo pubblicato con l'approvazione della Model Victoria.

Produced by Ansaldo-Fossati of Genova from 1933, the "Carro Veloce"CV 33 with other subsequent models CV 35 and CV 38 , was produced in more than 2000 exemplars and exported in various  countries including Austria, Brazil, China, Hungary. The CV 33 was equipped with a petrol engine of 2746 C.C. that develop a power of 43 HP and an armament made by two Fiat 35 machine guns calibre 8 mm with 27 + 2 coils of 80 rounds each one. The crew was formed by two men,  pilot and commander / machine gunner. The tank was deployed on all fronts where he Regio Esercito operated , including the Spanish Civil War. After the armistice on September 1943, Germans appropriated   of many CV that, under their insignia, participated at the  anti-partisan fights, principally in the Balkans sector. This tank  came along with many others in Africa painted gray green, with white back for easy night march in column. Soon he was painted in the classical sand color,
