British Sherman Firefly - Fine montaggio -

Ho finalmente finito il montaggio dello Sherman Firefly e finita anche la pittura degli attrezzi e dei carichi , sia posteriori che anteriori di difesa mancano solo dei piccoli particolari come i vetri dei periscopi. Poi  con l'aerografo ho spruzzato una mano leggera di XF55 su tutto il carro. Ora dovrò fare il lavaggio e le sporcature .

I finally finished the installation of the Sherman Firefly and also finished painting tools and loads, both rear and front of the defense there are only small details like the glass of periscopes. Then with the airbrush I sprayed a light coat of XF55 throughout the tank. Now I'll have to do the washing and dirtying.

Firefly - Pittura secondo step -

Nel secondo step ho usato sempre i colori Tamiya ma seguendo le istruzioni del Sig. Starmer il quale è sato molto gentile a consigliarmi le quantità di colore da usare : 5 gocce XF81 , 1 goccia XF58 , 1 goccia XF71.
Ora nelle foto non si vede molto bene ma questo è il risultato.

In the second step I used Tamiya colors but always following the instructions of Mr. Starmer which is concerned very kind to advise the amount of color to use: 5 drops XF81,1 drop XF58 , 1 drop XF71.Now in the pictures do not see very well, but this is the result.

Firefly - Pittura , primo step -

Prima fase di pittura con XF81 seguito da XF58 schiarito leggermente con XF71 , le referenze sono tutte Tamiya .

Firefly - Primer -

E' iniziata la pittura dello Sherman Firefly , come primer ho usato  l' XF 19 , spruzzato con l'aerografo e poi ho passato tutto il carro con lo Skull White della Citadel .

Ho ultimato il posizionamento dei carichi laterali sulla torretta dello Sherman , sotto ai teli ci sono dei cingoli non avendone  abbastanza di T62 ho aggiunto i T54E1 come si vede dalle foto originali già postate . Sul lato destro ho cercato di inventare un pò , non avendo  foto di quella parte della torretta .

I completed the placement of lateral loads on the turret of the Sherman, under the tarps there are tracks not having enough of  T62 I added T54E1 as seen from the original photos already posted. On the right side I tried to invent a little, having no pictures of that part of the turret.

In questo periodo di feste non ho lavorato molto sul mio Firefly ma piano piano ho finito il montaggio di alcuni particolari e dei cingoli ModelKasten ( lavoro di super pazienza ) ed ho deciso di rappresentalo come queste due foto che posto di seguito , non in questa situazione di movimento ma in  pausa come è mio solito fare . Il Firefly è il BELVEDERE , Squadrone B , Staffordshire Yeonmary , 27th Armoured Brigade ,Normandia 1944 . Gli accessori sono : Black Dog , Verlinden , Tasca , Dragon , Tank Workshop, Eureka XXL, la canna è Lion Marc ed un paio autocostruiti  come il telone e la scala .

In this holiday season I have not worked a lot on my Firefly but slowly I finished the installation of some details and track Modelkasten (work super patience) and I decided to represent it as a place that these two photos below, not in this situation movement but paused as is my wont. The Firefly is the BELVEDERE, B Squadron, Staffordshire Yeonmary, 27th Armoured Brigade, Normandy in 1944. Accessories are: Black Dog, Verlinden, Tasca , Dragon, Tank Workshop, Eureka XXL, the gun barrel is Lion Marc and a few self-built as the tarp and scale.

Ho finito di assemblare i 6 carrelli di tipo standard ed ho eseguito alcune ulteriori saldature sullo scafo e sulla torretta.

I finished assembling the 6 bogies type standard and I ran some more welds on the hull and turret

Ho eseguito le saldature su tutte le piccole maniglie che servono per il fissaggio degli attrezzi con stucco epossidico della Gunze .

I ran the welds on all the little handles that are used for fastening tools with epoxy putty Gunze.

Questo è il  nuovo modello  sul tavolo di lavoro , ho già iniziato la costruzione come si vede da queste  foto .Di quale nazione non lo sò ancora , vedrò in fase d'opera.

Posto altre foto più grandi , sono più o meno sempre quelle ma con riprese diverse e luce naturale  con particolari più evidenti .Sono anche un pò ripetitive , scusatemi .
