Sherman M4A1 - 756° Tank Battalion - finito -

Finalmente sono giunto alla conclusione del mio lavoro inserendo il capocarro ed il pilota , ho aggiunto la corda di fissaggio dei teli e la MG42 , la fune di traino sul lato sinistro dello Sherman e la cal. .50 in torretta .Per la base ci penserò.

Continuando con la pittura, adoperando pennello e spugnetta ho eseguito il chipping seguito poi da un lavaggio con colore chiaro tipo polvere : 7 parti di Light Dust A.Mig 1401 e 3 parti North Africa Dust A.Mig1404 .

Continuing with the paint, using brush and sponge I ran the chipping followed by a wash with light-colored dust type: 7 parts of Dust Light A.Mig 1401 and 3 parts North Africa Dust A.Mig1404.

Sherman pronto per la finitura

Lo Sherman è pronto per i primi lavaggi , per le  sporcature , chipping e scrostature varie .

The Sherman is ready for the first few washes , for dirtying, chipping and various paint chips.

Comandante Sherman M4A1

Il comandante dello Sherman appena finito o quasi , gli manca la testa ma ci stò lavorando.
Pittura : primer XF67 per i pantaloni e XF49 per il giaccone . Con gli acrilici Vallejo ho poi rifinito al mio meglio il figurino .

The commander of the Sherman just finished or nearly so, it lacks the head but I'm working .......... 
painting: a primer  XF67 for the trousers and XF49 for the jacket. With Vallejo acrylics and then I finished my best to appear.

 

Pittura Sherman M4A1 DV

Ho iniziato la pittura dello Sherman .  Come primer ho usato l' XF62 della Tamiya seguito poi da vari passaggi per schiarire il colore di base con XF58, XF25 , XF22, XF2 in parti uguali . Ora mi manca l'ultima mano per schiarire ulteriormente il colore  e dopo aver dipinto le stelle US ed il numero di battaglione , fisserò il tutto con una mano di trasparente satinato .

I started painting the Sherman. As a primer I used the Tamiya XF62 followed by various steps to lighten the base color with XF58, XF25, XF22, XF2 in equal parts. Now I'm missing the last hand to further lighten the color and after painting the stars and the number of U.S. battalion, I will fix it all with a satin coat finish.

Sherman M4A1 - 756° Tank Battalion -

Con tanta pazienza e dopo tante ore di lavoro ho ultimato il montaggio dei cingoli ModelKasten . Pensate che ogni maglia di cingolo è composta da otto particolari . Ho posizionato anche il capocarro ed il pilota , sono delle referenze Alpine con la sola variante : teste Hornet . Ora lo Sherman è finito , alcuni particolari come il cavo di traino , la sirena e le corde che fissano i carichi posteriori verranno montati prima dei lavaggi . Anche in questo carro per gestire meglio le fasi di pittura., i due scafi e la torretta non sono ancora incollati .

With a lot of patience and after many hours of work I have completed the installation of the tracks ModelKasten. Do you think that each track link is made up of eight pieces . I also placed the commander and driver , are references to the Alpine single variant : Hornet heads. Now Sherman is finished, some features such as tow, the siren and the ropes that hold the rear loads will be mounted before washing. Posto alcune foto dello Sherman quasi finito , mancano solo alcuni particolari ed i cingoli , poi passerò alla pittura. I particolari in resina sono della Blast Models , le Browning .30 Rb Models , i parafanghi anteriori della Voyager , la Browning .50 è Tasca Models , gli accessori sul retro dello scafo sono della Black Dog

Post some pictures of the Sherman almost finished, lacking only a few details and the tracks, then will go on to painting.The details in resin are the Blast Models , the Browning .30 RB models, front fenders Voyager, Browning .50 is the Tasca , accessories on the rear hull are the Black Dog .

Sherman M4A1 - 756° Tank Battalion -

Ho iniziato la costruzione di questo Sherman M4A1 DV del 756° battaglione a Vagney , in Francia nel 1944.
Non lo farò distrutto come da foto già pubblicata , ma qualche giorno prima di essere fermato dai cannoni Tedeschi .
Questo Sherman era comandato dal 2°Tenente James L. Harris ( medaglia d'onore  ) e fu distrutto il 7  ottobre del 1944 da fuoco nemico a Vagney . Per ora posto solo la foto di due carrelli già montati e delle parti che lo compongono  ( 15 ) il particolare  bianco è autocostruito per non mettere quel materiale spugnoso che c'è nel kit della Tasca .

I started building this Sherman M4A1 DV of 756° battalion in Vagney, France in 1944.I will not be destroyed as a photos already published, but a few days before being stopped by German guns.This Sherman was commanded by 2nd Lieutenant James l. Harris (Medal of honor) and was destroyed on 7 October 1944 from enemy fire in Vagney . For now only place the picture of two carriers already mounted and its component parts (15) the particular homemade white for not putting that spongy material that is in Tasca kit.
